Peters Hill Primary School was opened in 1974 and has had several extensions to accommodate children from the surrounding housing estates. Our most recent addition is the year 4 teaching block which opened in March 2006.

We are a large 4 form entry school and we staff a private and voluntary nursery unit on site. Pre school children join us in September for either an afternoon or a morning session, which gives a safe and secure induction to full time education.

Our playtimes and lunchtimes are staggered to maximise all out door space.

The school has been recognised as a Health Promoting School and it has been awarded Investors in People, the Basic Skills Quality Mark, Active School award and Football Association Charter Status.
